OVERVIEW
Liquid AI, Inc. ("Liquid AI") is hosting a series of virtual hackathons ("Contest") to encourage the development of local AI applications using the LEAP developer platform. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules.
CONTEST PERIOD
Each Contest runs for a two-week period, beginning at 9:00 AM PST on a Monday and ending at 9:00 PM PST two weeks later (the "Contest Period"). Specific dates for each Contest will be posted on hackathons.liquid.ai.
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to individuals and to teams of up to three (3) people. Participants under 18 years of age must have parental or legal guardian consent to participate and claim prizes. Employees, officers, and directors of Liquid AI and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) are not eligible to participate. The Contest is void in U.S. embargoed countries and where prohibited by law.
HOW TO ENTER
To have a valid entry, participants must complete all of the following steps during the Contest Period:
Limit one (1) submission per person or team per Contest Period.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
All participants must submit the following to the designated channels in the Liquid AI Discord:
Submissions must be original work and must not infringe upon the patent, copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
JUDGING AND PRIZES
Each Contest will have two (2) prizes of $5,000 each.
Anti-Fraud: Liquid AI reserves the right to disqualify any entry suspected of using bots or other fraudulent means to inflate social metrics. The decision of Liquid AI on the winner is final.
Prize Payout & Conditions: All prizes are awarded per submission. For team submissions, the prize will be paid to one designated team representative who is responsible for its distribution among team members.
As a condition of payment, potential winners will be required to sign and return a Prize Acceptance Agreement and provide all necessary payment and tax information (e.g., W-9 for U.S. persons, W-8BEN for non-U.S. persons).
